Situated near Staines on a 50 acre lake, Silver Wing Sailing Club has a growing membership with a very strong family atmosphere. We have always had a strong racing ethos but at the same time like to encourage new novice sailors to our club. You could say we are a family club that races.
We are a recognized RYA training centre, and have a very keen, active kids section. We have a great selection of club boats available for you to start sailing and develop your skills into club racing.
Members are welcome to use the lake at any time, while the club is open and not just for racing. Please speak to the race officer if you just want to meander around the lake. They will gladly show you the best places to sail, so as not to get tangled up with any racing.
We also have a few Stand-up paddle boards (SUPs) that are available for members to hire out. If you’d like to know more about hiring a SUP the speak to one of the training team or email us.

Thursday 16:00-21:30 – General Sailing and training
Sunday 10:00-17:00 – Racing starts at 11:00 & Training at 14:30
Winter Season
Sunday 10:00-15:00 – Racing starts at 11:00
